Dear Ashleigh,

In this month's issue: Edgbaston campus expansion plans revealed, research with real-world impact, students racing ahead, cash boost for increasing access to higher education, celebrating 125 years of the School of Jewellery and information on upcoming events.

Nominations for Alumni of the Year 2015 are open. We recently recognised the achievements of internationally recognised silversmith Kevin Grey and award-winning Learning Disabilities Nurse Raj Jhamat. Congratulations to both Kevin and Raj, who collected their certificates in January.

Kind regards
