City South Campus

Plans submitted to expand City South Campus
A detailed planning application has been submitted for a £41m building to house the new School of Life Sciences and a relocated School of Education.
The 10,500m² building at City South Campus in Edgbaston will enable the University to offer a wide range of new health, nutrition, biomedical science and sports courses. The formal planning decision is expected by the end of the year.

New home for the Students' Union
In September, the Grade II listed Eagle and Ball public house became the proud new home of the University's Students' Union. After standing derelict for almost 10 years the pub has now been restored to its former glory and is open to both students and the public.
