This month we celebrate the contribution the University, its students and graduates make to the cultural and creative industries with the launch of the Inspired Festival. The Festival showcases our students' talents and includes a series of concerts, performances, exhibitions, written work and more. Read on for more info.

Come and be Inspired

The University launched its Inspired Festival last week - a celebration of cultural and creative student talent from across the University. The Festival runs until 28 June offering access to performances, workshops and more.

New building name unveiled

The University has unveiled the new name for its latest building. The Curzon Building is the latest development in the University's multi-million pound estates plan and is situated in the heart of the City's learning quarter in Eastside

Reality TV a killer?

Earlier this month a debate at the University featuring celebrities heard that reality TV is a "collusion" between tabloids and TV PR professionals, and is on a conveyor belt where death will feature ever more prominently.

Watch the building of our new campus live

Work on the second phase of the University's City Centre Campus project, the Curzon Building is well underway. The new building will be home to Birmingham City Business School, the University's School of English, School of Law, and the School of Social Sciences. A fly-through and live webcam showing progress is available on the University's website.
